Leslie Willis is the Program Coordinator for TKF. She supports all TKF programming, including curriculum development and implementation for our Safe School Model programs for students, parents, and educators.
Passionate about empowering young people and building community, Leslie brings her experience developing youth leadership programs through sports and arts, teaching secondary school in Malaysia, and co-creating storytelling programs for justice-involved individuals in San Diego to this role. She has an MA in Social Innovation from the University of San Diego and a BA in Sociology and Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Leslie believes that when we equip our youths with the skills to live restoratively, with compassion, integrity, and peacemaking, we create a future of empathetic, understanding, and connected individuals. She is thrilled to be working with TKF to create safer schools and communities by equipping youth with the skills to be their best, restorative selves.
Leslie enjoys camping, ultimate frisbee, swing dancing, and a quiet night at home with her dog.
