Program Manager

The Program Manager position is responsible for the management and oversight of TKF’s youth development programs. The position will work to implement and coordinate school-based interventions aimed at supporting high-risk children and youth.

The Program Manager will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure TKF programs are delivered within the organization’s mission, focus and project scopes

  • Hire, train, assess, schedule, and supervise direct service program staff

  • Network and coordinate with local school and community-based partners to establish services and operating structure

  • Draft and monitor service contracts

  • Support client assessments and service plans

  • Manage program supplies and inventory

  • Maintain awareness of targeted population, service community, and incidents

  • Develop and oversee program documentation and reporting systems

  • Facilitate and manage program meetings, events, and teambuilding

  • Update admin on programs

  • Support resource development tasks for project sustainment

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a minimum of five years experience and knowledge in the following areas:

  • Experienced in program development and implementation

  • Management of a staff team conducting direct youth services

  • Understands educational systems

  • Working collaboratively with public schools and community organizations

  • Coordinating multiple service sites

  • Understanding of child/youth development

  • Excellent written, oral, and computer skills

  • Demonstrates great interpersonal skills

Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services from a four-year college or university

Staff Positions available-Curriculum Facilitator

TKF is seeking to immediately hire a part-time facilitator to conduct its classroom curriculum created to instruct students in social-emotional developmental skills.  The curriculum is a ten-session workshop series conducted in 45 to 50 minutes of instruction and classroom activities.  Scheduling of facilitation may vary based on agreements with school partners.  Facilitator will need to be available for a minimum of three days per week during regular school hours.  Training on the workshop curriculum is provided to ensure quality and consistency in delivery.  Must have experience working in schools.  Supervisory experience and Spanish-speaking capabilities are a plus. Position reports to TKF Program Director.

  • College Graduate
  • Classroom instructional experience required
  • Pass FBI/DOJ background check and recent Tuberculosis Test
  • Teaching certification preferred
  • Experience with educationally engaging youth ages ten and above
  • Must have three years of classroom teaching experience
  • Can effectively deliver information in a clear, compelling, and concise manner to meet the desired learning objectives of the TKF curriculum
  • Friendly, patient, flexible, and sensitive to the needs of a diverse student population
  • Effective in performing and maintaining student behavioral and classroom management tasks
  • Ability to communicate  at a professional level with TKF and school staff
  • Bilingual and cultural sensitivity a plus


$18 to 22 per hour, maximum of 24 hours per week. Facilitators are paid for hours of instruction, required meetings, training, and some preparation time.
